School Council Guest Speaker for Parents

Posted on: September 22nd, 2014

Building Resiliency and Stronger Communication Skills is rooted in teaching how to listen and how to be heard with a positive outcome. Resiliency comes from understanding and appreciating ourselves and embracing where our journey ends and where someone else’s might begin. In order to teach it to our children, we must be prepared to live it ourselves first and this workshop helps you to do both.  With plenty of honest discussion, the goal of this evening is to guide you as parents, to being the very best you can be and to helping you to help your children to do the same.  Presented by Barbara Lustgarten who will be speaking on October 9th at Bear Creek Secondary School from 7 to 9 PM.
