Students, families, community members, and employers are invited to join us for an evening to explore career opportunities in the skilled trades. The event will take place on March 26th, 2025, at Bear Creek Secondary School, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Parents/guardians and students will learn about the best courses, programs, and pathways to take that will lead to a successfull career in the skilled trades. Barrie and surrounding area employers will be available to speak about their careers and opportunities.
From 6 to 7 p.m., enjoy presentations from John McCollum, an Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) consultant and advocate for youth in the skilled trades, and a panel of Simcoe County District School Board graduates who are now active apprentices.
